What is MITS?

With current initiatives in transfer practices underway in various institutions in the state, the need for Maryland to share best practices, and to share success stories, is vitally important. Community college enrollment is increasing and more students are transferring to public and private institutions in the state. The concern now becomes, "who, what, where, when, how and why?"

The Maryland Institute for Transfer Success (MITS) is a one day conference designed to bring professionals from around the state together to share and learn about new transfer initiatives. Members of the higher education community, including faculty, staff, administrators and students, are invited to present on topics relevant to the continued improvement of the transfer process.
